About Pond Reports

Renewable energy sources are more popular than ever. A growing number of North American pond owners are looking for alternative and sustainable ways to manage the health of their ponds and the wildlife that depends on them for survival.

Pond reports supports:

  • preserving our fresh water ponds and lakes
  • environmentally friendly ways of doing so

Keeping ponds and lakes healthy and clean is becoming more of a challenge compared to a few decades ago. There are more chemicals and pollutants in the air and ground that are penetrating our fresh water sources. In many cases pond water needs assistance to fight off the various onslaught of pollutants that can take over the pond and bring their delicate eco-system out of balance causing pond stagnation and fish kill.

This site is dedicated to educating pond owners on the various manufacturers and models of windmill aeration systems that are available on the market. A one stop buyers guide so that you can choose the right windmill aeration system for your needs. One that you will hopefully be happy with so that you can tell other pond owners about a solution that can help their pond water and the environment. The purpose of this site is to educate buyers so that they can in turn ask the right questions of each manufacturer.

Methodology

Instead of ranking the various manufacturers as other sites have done with no description or grading criteria - Pond Reports has decided to simply provide comparison tables of the various manufacturers products that would form the basis for a buying decision. We have also tried to provide detailed engineering specifications of each to help consumers become more informed and assist them in formulating their questions which will ultimately help them make the right choice for their needs.

We believe that as a buyer it's important to know how many years a company has been manufacturing its products and how many they have sold on an annual basis. The longer the track record of success the more likelihood that you will be happy with your choice. The other consideration would be availability of parts if something should fail on your windmill- again the longer a company has been manufacturing the greater the potential of them being in business when and if you need their support.
